The Paley Center for Media welcomes the writing staff of 30 Rock—including head writers Tina Fey and Robert Carlock—to discuss the mechanics of crafting the bracingly satirical, breakneck comedy of the beloved series, now in its valedictory season. Possible topics include the challenges of balancing antic, absurdist material with the affecting emotional underpinnings of the characters' relationships, the truth about the immortal page Kenneth, and whether NBC plans to actually produce MILF Island or allow it to remain a beautiful, impossible dream.
Presented with Writers Guild of America - East
