The Paley Center takes an insider’s look at the culinary world’s impact on media with A Taste of Media, a special series honoring two of today’s most acclaimed and engaging chefs, Giada De Laurentiis and Cat Cora. Each event will include a screening and conversation in the Center’s intimate John H. Mitchell Theatre, followed by a book signing and tasting reception with a menu chosen by the evening’s honored chef. 

In 2005 Cat Cora made television history as the first and to date only female Iron Chef. In addition to being one of the world’s most prominent chefs, she is a renowned humanitarian, using her media profile to gather the culinary community together to raise funds and provide resources for emergency, educational, and hunger-related causes. Cat will join us to relive some classic Iron Chef moments and discuss her journey from small-town Mississippi to the top of the food world. A post-event book signing and a tasting reception follow the program.
