The DVD Business Sure Burned Out Fast, Didn’t It?

The rush to get the DVD out fast kills the anticipation and decreases the value of the product to the consumer. Yes, the hits always perform, but mid-level movies have suffered greatly at the theatre since consumers know that in a few weeks, it'll be out on DVD.
