Summary
One in this fantasy/science fiction anthology series, hosted by Roald Dahl. In this episode, actor Michael Drake, preparing for his role as Quasimodo, finds the perfect face upon which to model his makeup: the face of a deformed derelict he finds in a flophouse. Drake pays the man to come to his theater dressing room, where the actor painstakingly copies the man's face and affects his gestures, paying little attention to the derelict's story of a life of rejection and suffering. After Drake has copied the face, he coldly throws the man out, and his performance in the play that evening is wildly successful. A surprise, however, awaits Drake after the show. Includes a commercial, promos, and a public service announcement.
