Summary
This program surveys the reaction among Germans to the
German broadcast of "Holocaust," the American
television docudrama that chronicles the experiences of
an archetypical Jewish family named Weiss during the
Holocaust of the Nazi era. Those interviewed include
former German World War II servicemen; members of a
youth club of the Evangelic Parish in Berlin (ages
18-25); members of the Christian Democratic Union
Party (ages 20-23); trade unionists (ages 20-23); and
young German Socialists (ages 14-19).
