American Masters Premiere:
Carol Burnett

Thursday, October 25; 7:00 pm

PBS's acclaimed biography series American Masters pays tribute to one of television's first ladies of comedy with a documentary directed by Kyra Thompson. Clips of some of Burnett's most memorable work are woven with reminiscences from original cast members of The Carol Burnett Show and such fellow entertainers as Carl Reiner, Garry Shandling, and Tracey Ullman. Get a sneak peek before it premieres on PBS this November. For extra insight into a remarkable career, a discussion with Carol Burnett will precede the screening.

Carol Burnett is a 2006 She Made It honoree. Go to shemadeit.org for information about all the honorees.

Inside the Creative Process:
Tom Selleck on Jesse Stone

Tuesday, November 6; 7:00 pm

Small-town copper Jesse Stone is—in the words of his alter ego, Tom Selleck—a "good guy with a lot of problems," like twin addictions to his ex-wife and booze. Created by hard-boiled novelist Robert B. Parker and portrayed by Selleck in an ongoing series of CBS movies, Stone fights both inner demons and criminals in Paradise, Massachusetts, and Selleck will tell you all about it at this special one-on-one chat with the TV icon.

With three Emmy nominations this year, ER is the most Emmy-nominated program of all time (its 120 noms surpassing the 117 previously bestowed on Cheers). Join us as we screen the 300th episode, followed by a Q&A with the cast and creative team.
