All events listed take place at The Paley Center for Media in New York, 25 West 52 Street, New York, NY, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.

Ticket Policies
Events and participants are subject to change without notice. No refunds or exchanges. Four-ticket limit per person, per event. All seating is general admission; no reserved seating. Premium seating for Producers Circle Members at Producers Circle events only.

· In Person: Tickets for all events are available at the front desk, Tues to Sun, 12:00 to 6:00 pm; Thurs to 8:00 pm.


Online ticketing closes two hours before a scheduled event. Tickets may still be purchased in person up until the time of the event.






An Evening with
Mary Tyler Moore

Thursday, October 11; 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

This evening celebrates Mary Tyler Moore's diverse and highly acclaimed contributions to the medium of television. Our conversation will focus on the profound impact her work has had on the portrayal of women on television. Laura Petrie and Mary Richards remain icons of modern, articulate, intelligent women, and their influence is felt in all of the strong, funny, self-reliant female characters who have followed.

An Evening with
Glenn Close

Tuesday, November 6; 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Glenn Close is one of the few leading actors to divide her time equally between television, film, and theater, with award-winning star status in each. Currently she is earning raves for her performance as high-powered attorney Patty Hewes on FX's hit series Damages. Ms. Close will talk about her large body of TV work over two decades.

TV's beloved Jessica Fletcher has an unparalleled career in film (The Manchurian Candidate, The Dark at the Top of the Stairs), stage (Deuce), musical theater (Mame, Sweeney Todd), and television (Murder, She Wrote). Ms. Lansbury will discuss her illustrious sixty-year career and the importance of television in that work.

Kyra Sedgwick and The Closer

Wednesday, December 5; 6:00 to 7:30 pm


Deputy Police Chief Brenda Johnson—superbly played by Emmy nominee/Golden Globe winner Kyra Sedgwick—is part Blanche DuBois as neurotic inquisitor, part Jane Tennison on a sugar high. Join Sedgwick for a screening of an episode of the TNT series, followed by a Q&A discussion about her performance as one of TV's most intriguing characters.
