Alan Ball and the writing staff of True Blood: Raelle Tucker, Alexander Woo, Nancy Oliver, Brian Buckner, Kate Barnow, and Elisabeth Finch
After pushing the television drama envelope with the funeral home–set Six Feet Under, Alan Ball has taken things a step further with True Blood, a visceral thrill ride exploring the fraught complexities of life among the undead. Ball and his writing team will discuss the creation of HBO’s addictive new series, the metaphorical richness of the vampire myth, and the thinking behind Bill Compton’s fetching bowl cut.

Expert Commentary
Barnabas Collins, True Blood-Sucker
True Blood's Stephen Moyer and Twilight's Edward Cullen may be the vampires of the moment, but if you ask me, no blood-sucking Nosferatu will ever hold a candle to the great Barnabas Collins...

Who is going to play Alcide Herveaux? And do you have a prospect for Quinn in the upcoming seasons? Please dont leave this out, we want to see Sookie taking Lorena down. I am huge fan. Thank you very much.

How much will season 3 deviate from the books? Why has bubba been left out? We should have seen werewolves in season 2. When will they finally make an appearance? Even though I am a huge fan of the book series I'm grateful to see Lafayette still around. Also just got my order of True Blood yesterday it's delicious. Lot's of caffeine but awesome. thank you for giving us something to look forward to on sunday nights!!!

I would like to know if there is a plan to give Lafayette a love interest in the show?

This question is from my friend:
Since vamps and humans can't have little teacups, and vamps don't really seem to have any social rights, would they be allowed to adopt?

The love triangle between Eric, Bill & Sookie is my favorite part of the plot line. I was disappointed that so little time was spent on this in Season 2. I enjoyed the 2 natured people plot lines next best. I don't care for the FotS plot line at all.
I love this show so much. Thank you for such a wonderful series!!

Hi Mr. Ball,
What is the tone of Season 3? Season 2 was very dark so I'm curious to see what will happen in Season 2. I hope there will be more humor!
:]

Please tell us when Season 2 comes out on DVD.

To the writers and Mr. Allan Ball,
Have you seen the very large fan request on all the major web sites including the True Blood Wiki, requesting for Marcia DeRousse to return in her role of Dr. Ludwig? Is there any way to bring her back to season 3? I'm sure the wonderful talented writers would be able to create a scene for Dr. Ludwig and make her fans extremely happy. Marcia would be a asset to the show as seen on her fan page on the True Blood Wiki.

Ed quinn was very entertaining when he played the role of Stan Davis during season 2. Any chances of bringing him back to life?

Are you going to bring back Dr. Ludwig back in any future seasons of TB? Marcia DeRousse was the perfect person to play this part and Dr. Ludwig was an awsome character.
