Digital Defamation: Cyberbullying and the First Amendment
As we all increasingly live our lives in the digital space, cyberbullying has reached epidemic proportions. Hateful Internet postings blemish careers and provoke lawsuits. Search engines and other websites that deliver libelous content are currently protected by federal law. This Panel Discussion will explore important questions about public policy, Internet regulation, and the huge implications for free speech online.
