In Person
Patricia Arquette
Moderated by Marilyn Stasio, crime and mystery columnist, The New York Times Book Review
Emmy Award–winner Patricia Arquette's Allison DuBois is a wife, mom, and consultant to the Phoenix D.A. who just happens to get nighttime visions of violent crime scenes and who, yes, sees dead people in Medium, Glenn Gordon Caron's eerie, innovative NBC murder/mystery series. The tone of the show is anything but flip: It is distinctly chilling, from the opening credits to the slick nocturnal scenes. The Paley Center will screen an unaired episode, which is Arquette's directorial debut. Then Arquette will discuss her Emmy-winning performance as DuBois, who is based on a real-life, self-proclaimed medium by the same name.
