PARTRIDGE FAMILY, THE: WHERE DO MERMAIDS GO? (TV)
Summary
One in this series of comedies about the Partridges, a family of rock musicians who travel around in a psychedelic bus. In this episode, the Partridges befriend a young hippie named Jenny, whom they help avoid being arrested for vagrancy. They bring the young woman home with them, where she spends the night. When she leaves the next morning, Shirley discovers that Jenny -- who is secretly an heiress -- has put a million dollars in her bank account as thanks for the family's kindness. The Partridges are at first delighted, then disturbed, when they find that being rich has its negative side. Includes the song, "It's Time That I Knew You Better." Commercials deleted.
