GILLIGAN'S ISLAND: QUICK BEFORE IT SINKS (TV)
Summary
One in this series about seven castaways stranded on a desert island, and their unsuccessful attempts at escape. In this episode, the Professor notices that the measuring stick he has been using to mark the tide is almost completely submerged, causing him to conclude that the island is sinking. The men, determined to hide this disastrous news from the women, secretly build a hut on the island's high ground. Eventually, the women learn of their predicament, and other attempts at escape prove similarly fruitless. In the end, the bumbling Gilligan reveals that he had inadvertently caused the entire panic. Commercials deleted.
