SEX AND THE CITY: A VOGUE IDEA (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Carrie Bradshaw, a single Manhattanite who writes a popular sex-advice column for a newspaper while dishing out dating advice and dirt with her three closest friends. In this episode, Carrie begins her first day as a columnist for Vogue enthusiastically , but she is quickly put in her place by persnickety editor Enid. Carrie finds comfort with another editor, the 50ish and married Julian, who quickly becomes her mentor. Meanwhile, Charlotte tries to arrange a baby shower for Miranda, but continues to be haunted by her own baby-shower-that-never-was. Also, Richard asks Samantha for only one gift on his birthday, a threesome with the vivacious young hostess at a trendy restaurant. Ultimately, Julian tries to make his and Carrie's relationship more than "professional."
