Summary
One in this series of late-night comedy/variety programs. This edition features musical guest Steve Forbert. Highlights include: a sketch entitled "The Ronny Horror Show" mocks the political objectives of President-elect Ronald Reagan and unveils Reagan's model for the ultra-conservative human being; the "Friday Edition" looks at the top news stories of the day and includes a parody of the Calvin Klein jeans commercials which normally feature Brooke Shields; John Lennon, who was killed earlier in the week, is given a tribute using his own words; Nat E. Dred, the Rasta Gourmet Chef, plans to cook a dish called Fish a la Bob Marley but can't find the fish, so he makes a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a special ingredient; Steve Forbert performs "Everything's O.K."; Rabbis Fienberg and Kimmelman host their show "Matzoi!" in which they preview a clip from their soon-to-be-released film, "The Chicken Hunter"; Steve Forbert performs the songs "Lonely Girl" and "Get Well Soon"; the last sketch finds a wife coming to visit her husband in prison and when she shows him a picture that his daughter drew and he can't stop commenting on the drawing. Includes commercials, promos, and public service announcements.
