Summary

One in this series of dramas about the investigations undertaken by staff members of Howard Publications, a Los Angeles-based publishing empire run by Glenn Howard. In this two-part episode, Glenn Howard investigates the death of a young reporter. Howard's investigation brings him to the home of movie star Magda Blain and he learns of the involvement of wealthy reactionary Herman Allison in the reporter's murder. After Sen. Goddard is murdered, Allison takes Howard prisoner, but actually falls into a trap and is brought to justice. Includes commercials.
