Summary

One in this series of lighthearted dramas that follows the adventures of con man Harry Lime, based on the film "The Third Man." Orson Welles, in character as Harry, introduces the program. In this episode, set in 1936, Harry meets a couple at a Monte Carlo casino who try to blackmail him. Realizing that as a fellow criminal Harry is not susceptible to their efforts, they seek his help in smuggling U.S. dollars out of France and into England. Each acting without the other's knowledge, husband and wife both try to double-cross Harry, but their schemes work at cross-purposes. Commercials deleted. (This series was produced by the BBC in 1951-1952 and syndicated in the United States in 1952.)
