LOU GRANT: DYING (TV)

Summary

One in this series of dramas about a Los Angeles newspaper, its staff, and city editor Lou Grant. In this episode, assistant city editor Art Donovan cannot accept the fact that his mother, diagnosed with leukemia, is going to die, and he makes every attempt to postpone the inevitable. Lou and Billie try unsuccessfully to help him face the situation. Finally, Billie brings the director of a hospice to visit Mrs. Donovan, who expresses her longing to die at home in peace, and asks her son for his support. Commercials deleted.
