One in this live countdown series that highlights the top ten viewer-selected music videos of the day. This episode, broadcast three days after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, falls on the U.S. National Day of Prayer and Remembrance. Hosts AJ and Free introduce the program, encouraging viewers to step out of their homes at 7:00 p.m. with a candle as part of a nationwide candlelight vigil. The tenth most requested video on the day's countdown, Ray J's "Formal Invite," is screened, followed by Mary J. Blige's "Family Affair" at number nine and Maxwell's "Lifetime." The hosts announce contact information for people who wish to donate money to emergency funds. Videos number seven, Jay Z's "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)," and six, "Caramel" from City High (featuring Eve), are then shown. Next, AJ and Free introduce a new video from Bubba Sparxxx, "Ugly." AJ announces several phone numbers that offer information on victims and survivors of the attacks, as well as trauma counseling. The fifth and fourth videos, Usher's "U Got It Bad," and "Hardball" from Lil' Bow Wow, Lil' Wayne, Lil' Zane, and Sammie, are screened. The hosts introduce another new video, "Nothing in this World" from Keke Wyatt featuring Avant. This is followed by Bob Marley's "One Love," after which the hosts and audience members take part in the candlelight vigil and a moment of silence. Next, the final three videos are shown.
