MUTUAL OF NEW YORK: WAITRESS {ART DIRECTORS CLUB, 1977: 56TH ANNUAL EXHIBITION, REEL 3}

Summary

In this commercial for the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York, a woman who works as a waitress in a diner explains that when her husband got a new job several years ago, he received a benefits package that included life insurance. He always used to say that if anything happened to him, at least the family would be provided for. "And that's what I always thought," she says. "Until he died. And I found out that the life insurance that seemed like so much when we talked about it, isn't nearly enough now that we need it." The announcer explains that a MONY representative can evaluate your life insurance coverage to determine if it's adequate for your needs. Slogan: "Mutual of New York. MONY. For the future."
