Summary
In this commercial for Du Pont Stainmaster carpets, a well-dressed man and woman are shown having a romantic dinner at home. He starts to tease her by offering her a spoonful of his dessert that she can't quite reach. Before long a playful food fight erupts, which culminates when the man reaches for a bottle of champagne, shakes it vigorously, and sprays the contents all over his partner. The announcer observes that a Du Pont Stainmaster carpet lies beneath every "spotless evening," but he cautions that "it's not a Stainmaster if it doesn't say Du Pont."
