Summary

A comedy/variety special with the theme of host Jack Benny's "New Look." It opens with clips of Benny in mock-hippie garb and postures. Program highlights include the following: Benny, in Edwardian dress, offers an opening monologue concerning youth and nudity; George Burns jokes in the audience; Nancy Sinatra sings "The Best Is Yet To Come" and "Here, There, and Everywhere"; Benny, Gregory Peck, and Eddie "Rochester" Anderson in a comedy sketch; Gary Puckett and the Union Gap sing "The Beggar"; Benny, Peck, and Burns satirize a rock group; and an appearance by Lucille Ball.
