Planet of Giants

(1964; 73 minutes)
The Doctor (First Doctor—William Hartnell), Ian, Barbara, and Susan have arrived back on Earth in the 1960s, a time they had been trying to return to since they all met. However, an accident causes the TARDIS doors to open while the ship is still in flight, and upon landing they discover that they have been reduced in size and stand only an inch tall. The world now has dangers at every turn for the tiny travellers—including a new insecticide that may threaten more than just insects.

Our thanks to BBC Home Entertainment
for making this series of Doctor Who
screenings possible.
