Miracle on 52nd Street: Holiday Highlights from Variety Specials

Celebrate the season with classic numbers from the Ghosts of Variety Shows past: The Muppets, the Carpenters, Judy Garland, Julie Andrews, Andy Williams, Mariah Carey, Neil Diamond, Frank & Bing, and many others. (82 minutes)

 

TV Mixtapes: Christmas Carols: A Scrooge Mash-Up

Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol continues to enchant generation after generation and inspire countless adaptations. Since everyone has their particular favorite dramatization, the Paley Center presents its own “Scrooge mash-up,” so to speak. The entire story will be told using clips from versions starring Mr. Magoo, Patrick Stewart, and Basil Rathbone among others, as well as the tale as interpreted by the casts of such shows as The Flintstones and Bugs Bunny. (70 minutes)
