A Look at Liv Ullmann, Then and Now

Oct 27, 2008
6:30 – 8:15 PM ET
New York

In 1979 filmmaker Richard Kaplan made A Look at Liv: Norway’s Liv Ullmann; Liv Ullmann’s Norway, a revealing documentary about the extraordinary actress Liv Ullmann, detailing her acting methods, the complicated relationship she shared with Ingmar Bergman, and the public’s perception of her as a feminist icon. The Paley Center is honored to reunite filmmaker and subject for a screening, followed by a conversation focusing on the course Ullmann’s life has taken since then, including her second career as a director.
