The Paley Center for Media Announces
Event Series Available Online ‘On Demand'

Exclusively on Yahoo! TV

New York, NY and Los Angeles, CA—The Paley Center for Media (formerly The Museum of Television & Radio) announced today that footage from its unique live event series is now available online, on demand, on Yahoo! TV.  Throughout the year, the Paley Center hosts numerous events in New York and Los Angeles with influential newsmakers, journalists, writers, directors, producers, media personalities, and celebrities. Through these live events, the Paley Center explores and illuminates the creativity, innovations, personalities, and leaders who are shaping media—and the world—today.

Now, for the first time, a collection of 300 clips from the Paley Center's live events will be released over the next few months on Yahoo! TV in a unique series titled Inside Media at The Paley Center for Media. The Paley Center's live events are known for the fresh, unscripted, and often unexpected exchanges between cast members, creators, and the audience. Events that will be featured on Yahoo! TV include some of the most recognized, award-winning shows in contemporary television, such as 24, CSI, The Daily Show, Desperate Housewives, Entourage, Family Guy, Grey's Anatomy, House, Law & Order, Lost, Sex and the City, South Park, and Weeds. "The Paley Center for Media has a strong and respected tradition of interpreting the role media plays in shaping opinions, trends, ideas, as well as celebrating the best in television and radio programs through our screenings and conversations with the creative teams behind the hits and groundbreaking formats," said Pat Mitchell, president and chief executive officer of the Paley Center. "Our partnership with Yahoo! TV—which will make our events with media leaders and creators available on demand—means that we can share our expertise and ability to convene the top names in the industry with media enthusiasts and consumers far beyond those who walk through our doors."

"Yahoo! TV is thrilled for the opportunity to highlight the vast history of The Paley Center for Media and their invaluable programs," said Karin Gilford, general manager of Entertainment for Yahoo!. "It is an honor to help pay homage to the legacy of so many great television performers, writers, directors, and producers through the Paley Center."

The Paley Center for Media, with locations in New York and Los Angeles, leads the discussion about the cultural, creative, and social significance of television, radio, and emerging platforms for the professional community and media-interested public. Drawing upon its curatorial expertise, an international collection, and close relationships with the leaders of the media community, the Paley Center examines the intersections between media and society. The general public can access the collection and participate in programs that explore and celebrate the creativity, the innovations, the personalities, and the leaders who are shaping media. Through the global programs of its Media Council and International Council, the Paley Center also serves as a neutral setting where media professionals can engage in discussion and debate about the evolving media landscape. Previously known as The Museum of Television & Radio, the Paley Center was founded in 1975 by William S. Paley, a pioneering innovator in the industry.
