The Paley Center for Media Puts a Spotlight on the Power of Storytelling at IC Summit

NEW YORK, NY,  September 3, 2014—The Paley Center for Media announced the initial line-up of confirmed speakers for the annual Paley International Council (IC) Summit, scheduled for November 19-21 in New York.  Marking the 22nd Paley International Council gathering since 1995, IC2014: The Power of Storytelling will celebrate the legacy and envision the future of the storytelling business, with dynamic conversations about the new technologies and distribution platforms that are changing the ways in which we create, consume, and connect on a global scale through stories.

•    An exploration of virtual reality and immersive storytelling with Facebook’s Dan Rose and Oculus VR’s Jason Rubin
•    An interview with Robert Redford conducted by Pat Mitchell, Executive Vice Chair of the Paley Center
•    A sweeping look at the different ways the Walt Disney Co. localizes its content around the world led by Disney’s Andy Bird
