In addition to being one of the premier interpreters of the Great American songbook, Michael Feinstein is one of the leading experts on classic popular music. In conjunction with the release of his new book, The Gershwins and Me: A Personal History in Twelve Songs (Simon & Schuster), Feinstein will talk about his close relationship with Ira Gershwin and the importance of the Gershwins in music history, while showing highlights from the Paley Center collection featuring some of their best loved songs.
