An open and digital first approach to journalism has helped to drive record audiences for the Guardian and deepen our engagement with readers. This reflects a wider shift in business and society towards a more open way of operating.

Activate will ask how business, government, education and society can use openness and digital to their advantage. The summit will bring together experts, innovators and thought leaders to start answering these questions.
