Tortured love, toothsome characters, snappy dialogue laced with pop-culture references . . . no wonder The Vampire Diaries is one of the most buzzed-about new shows. Developed by Kevin Williamson (Dawson’s Creek, the Scream trilogy) and Julie Plec (Kyle XY) and based on the young-adult novels by L.J. Smith, this slickly produced CW series centers on recently orphaned high school coed Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrey) and her love affair with the benevolent and brooding (what else?) 162-year-old vampire Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley). Stefan’s blood-sucking bro Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is on hand to stir things up. Slate’s Troy Patterson calls the series’s Virgina setting, “a blank canvas for the primal emotions of adolescence—confusing lust, simmering angst, sibling-rivalrous spite, and the aching quest for self-reinvention.”

In relation to the Bonnie and Tyler storyline. I would llike to know if it is possible Bonnie and Tyler might become a couple. I really like the fact that Bonnie is a witch and Tyler is a werewolf. Plus they are both dealing with inner turmoils at the moment and also in upcoming episodes. So have you ever considered making Bonnie and Tyler a couple. I think Bonnie and Tyler can be good for each other. I also like the fact that there seems to be more to Tyler than what meets the eye, so maybe Bonnie can be the one to see that. Also Tyler can help Bonnie look at life witha little more purspode, he good show her how to become the bubbly person she use to be. Thse are just some ideas I have and was wondering if you ever considered making Bonnie and Tyler a couple.
BTW totally love Vampire Diaries and I also love Damon and Elena.

Is there a possibility that Stefan will bite Elena? And how do Paul and Nina prepare for a love scene? Is it uncomfortable or can you relax around each other?

First off, I love Vampire diaries, especially Damon. His character is so well layered, with every episode I look forward to his scenes the most, especially the ones involving Elena, because she comes alive in scenes with Damon, she gets all feisty which I love lol. Anyway, before the show aired I read the bks, after seeing the trailer. So that I can have an idea of who all the characters were. At 1st I was not impressed because it seemed to highschool like but then Damon appeared and the book went flipping out of my hand, I was like who is that. In the books I love the chemistry between Damon and Elena, it is off the charts. You have to read between the lines to know whats really happening between Damon and Elena and thats what makes the books so interesting.
Now for the show, at 1st I was scared that the Damon and Elena parts would get outshadowed by the Soul Mates Stefan and Elena. But you all have been able to clearly distinguish Stefan and Elena from Damon and Elena, I can tell you guys really understood who Damon and Elena were in the books, because a lot of people don't understand their relationship so great job on analyzing who all the characters are and being able to show that for the tv show . As a book fan I can tell you you guys have done an excellent job, even with a few changes made, its still the best series ever. So I love the show and I especially love DAMON and ELENA :)

Their chemistry is just undeniable.
When they're together it isn't that hard for all of us to see what's right there in front of our faces.
They belong together and no one else can tell us otherwise.
Ian/Nina and Damon/Elena see it.
You see it.
I see it.
We all see it.
It's there and it's there as clear as day.
It's no secret why we can all agree that this couple is meant to be. It's just there!

Dear Producer..We love Damon and Elena so mucch! I have lots of friends is so enjoying the TV screentime when Delena is together.. THE BOOK's description of Delena relationship is amazing.. the unspoken love and the forbidden love.... it's so exciting.. Will TV show Delena has such wonderful story lines? We need them!!Thank you very much and we love your awesome show!
