Dallas

Mar 10, 2013

The all-time king of nighttime soaps, Dallas’s reign over pop culture was too strong for it to simply ride off into the sunset when the original series ended in 1991, after fourteen seasons. Returning for all new episodes in 2012, TNT’s Dallas brought back original cast members Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, and Larry Hagman to preside over the next generation of Ewings as they participate in their own share of sibling rivalries and unsavory schemes of the sort that always made it so much fun for viewers to drop by Southfork Ranch. Despite Hagman’s untimely passing in November, the spirit of J.R.’s treachery will no doubt live on. We wouldn’t want it any other way.
