'60s Sitcoms Rediscovered: Love on a Rooftop

Los Angeles

Championed by TV Guide critic Cleveland Amory for its “fine inventiveness” and “splendid acting,” Love on a Rooftop was a charming addition to the 1966–67 television season. The story of two newlyweds sharing a hole-in-the-wall San Francisco apartment with an adjacent stairway leading to a rooftop, this romantic comedy starred a pre-Laugh-In Judy Carne and Peter Deuel. Little seen for decades, the Paley Center will host a screening of the pilot and the season premiere.

Screenings are free but please RSVP below.
