America’s Funniest Home Videos, now in its twentieth season, is the longest-running prime-time entertainment show on ABC. This series has given away over ten million dollars in prize money, while evaluating more than half a million videotapes from home viewers. Hosted by Tom Bergeron, AFV is a pioneer in today’s user-generated content world. In fact, YouTube creator Chad Hurley has mentioned the impact of the show by stating, “We are providing a stage where everyone can participate and everyone can be seen . . . We see ourselves as a combination of America's Funniest Home Videos and Entertainment Tonight.” Bergeron and the creative staff will screen some of their favorite videos and the best clips from the last twenty years while discussing the show’s development.
Tickets are FREE for Members, but RSVPS are required.
