In the past two decades Katie Couric has blazed trails at all of the “Big Three” networks. Coanchor of NBC’s Today from 1991–2006—where her top-notch reporting skills and likable, approachable manner were immediately embraced by viewers and critics alike—she went on to a five-year stint as the sole anchor and managing editor of CBS Evening News (marking a “first” for a woman at a major network) and is currently gearing up for her own afternoon talk show on ABC, premiering this September. Paley Center President and CEO Pat Mitchell will interview Couric about her wide-ranging career and the shifting paradigm of network television.
