Raising Hope

A convicted killer, a state execution, a baby who’s sent to live with a sweet but clueless young man and his white-trash clan, a chain-smoking mother who cleans hotel rooms for a living and wants to dump the infant at a local fire station, and a demented grandmother who walks around in her bra and thinks her grandson is her long-dead husband. They’re all part of the new Fox comedy hit Raising Hope, a wry, vulgar, and ultimately wise paean to large, messy families, created by My Name Is Earl’s Greg Garcia. “Raising Hope is deliciously demented and easily the funniest new show of the fall,” raves the Boston Herald. Bring me another beer!
