Program: 7:00 pm

CBS anchor Gayle King joins Frank Bennack, the legendary executive vice chairman and former CEO of Hearst, for a stimulating conversation about his trailblazing career in media and commitment to philanthropy. They will discuss the evolution of news media, as chronicled in Mr. Bennack’s memoir Leave Something on the Table: And Other Surprising Lessons for Success in Business and in Life, to be published by Simon & Schuster.

Frank Bennack served as Hearst’s CEO for more than twenty-eight years before becoming executive vice chairman. He directed the company through an unprecedented period of growth, from the beginning of his first tenure as CEO in 1979, through June 2013 when he stepped down. He is credited with increasing revenues fourteen times and growing earnings more than thirty times through investments, acquisitions, and startups. Bennack is also chairman of the company's Executive Committee, a director of Hearst, and a trustee of The Hearst Family Trust, established under the will of William Randolph Hearst. In addition, he sits on a number of corporate committees and the Hearst Foundations Boards, where he has served for more than twenty-five years.

Gayle King is an American television personality, journalist, and author. She is a chief anchor for CBS News and a cohost of its flagship morning program, CBS This Morning, a position she has held since its debut in 2012. In addition, she serves as editor-at-large for O, The Oprah Magazine.
