COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE: A LITTLE HYPER-AWARE {SEASON FOUR PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
The fourth season premiere in Jerry Seinfeld's web series in which he drives, dines and banters with his contemporaries. In this episode, the car is a 1976 Ford Country Squire Wagon belonging to guest star Sarah Jessica Parker, though Seinfeld declares that he is "hating every second" of driving the boxy, old-fashioned vehicle. Parker, however, describes her love of the car as they drive through New York City, and a passerby compliments the vintage "grocery-getter." They stop for coffee on their way out of the city and discuss some childhood memories and their own current parenting habits, and Seinfeld describes his love for the short-lived motorcycle-themed 1969 TV series "Then Came Bronson." Eventually they reach the Colony Diner in East Meadow, New York, and share a meal while discussing comedy bits and bantering about the check and the tip. Parker drives as they head back into the city, and discussion turns to singer Harry Chapin and his song "Flowers Are Red," and the two comedians retire to the backseat as a chauffeur takes over. Scenes are then shown from upcoming episodes featuring other comedians.
