MODERN FAMILY: NO SMALL FEET (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series, a "mockumentary" about the eccentric individuals comprising three inter-related families in Los Angeles. In this episode, Luke and Alex engage in a somewhat unsavory business venture — mailing her used shoes to "feet freaks" — and Claire and Jay are elated to be invited to a prestigious European closet expo. Phil, desperate to sell a house to a highly superstitious client, Mrs. Graham, recruits part-time exorcist Gloria to rid the house of any "bad spirits," and Mitchell, eager to get rid of Cam's freeloading sister Pam, who is still living upstairs with her infant son, is relieved when her ne'er-do-well boyfriend Bo arrives in town determined to win her back, though Cam refuses to accept his apparent remorse. Gloria tells Phil that she cannot "drive out" whatever strange and evil force is lurking in the house, causing Mrs. Graham to immediately abandon the sale.

Bo tries to win Cam over by returning a family heirloom, a Confederate bayonet, and Mitch ignores his better instincts and declares himself "Team Bo." Jay shows his employees a "movie" all about himself and his impressive business accomplishments, prompting Claire to complain that he can't let her "have her day," and though Phil tries to convince Gloria that spirits and devils aren't real, they soon find what is really "haunting" the house: a swarm of bees. Jay and Claire discover Luke and Alex using the company shipping for their shoe business and, clearly seeing parallels to their own partnership, praise the kids as "gutsy." Father and daughter finally agree that their respective contributions are equally valuable, and Mitch finally pulls his support for "Team Bo" when he discovers Heather, Bo's back-up girlfriend, who is impatiently waiting in the car as Bo attempts to propose to an uncertain Pam. Finally, Manny returns home to steal a few "creature comforts," and Jay tries to trick him into a screening of his homemade biopic. Includes commercials and promos.
