Summary
In this commercial for Pizza Hut, a youngster who loves basketball finally gets the court to himself when the older kids of the neighborhood finish their game. He imagines that he's in the final seconds of a crucial game with the score tied. But when his chance for glory arrives and he takes his shot, he misses. As an afterthought, he pretends he was fouled. In a voice-over, the announcer explains that Pizza Hut is an official sponsor of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. "For all of you who ever dreamed of playing big-time basketball," he says, "Pizza Hut and the NCAA would like to say thanks for making it great." Slogan (supered): "Pizza Hut. Makin' it great."
