MR. BEAN {SERIES PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series starring Rowan Atkinson as Mr. Bean, a timid, Chaplinesque man who rarely speaks but is frequently mired in tomfoolery. Mr. Bean goes to an examination hall to take a mathematics exam. He finds himself somewhat in contention with the student sitting next to him. The test begins and Mr. Bean is stumped by his test question. He makes various attempts to cheat off of the student next to him. As the test draws to a close, Mr. Bean realizes he has answered the wrong question and scrambles to correct his mistake. Later, Mr. Bean visits the beach, where he wants to go swimming. However, he does not want to change in front of the sole other beachgoer. He contrives a method by which he changes into his swim trunks before removing his pants. After the arduous process, he finds that the other beachgoer was blind after all. Mr. Bean goes to church in the middle of a service. The man sitting next to him experiences no end of trouble as Mr. Bean sneezes and finds himself without a handkerchief, keeps falling asleep, tries to excise a mint from his pocket, etc. Commercials deleted.
