Summary

The premiere of this fantasy adventure series chronicling the exploits of newspaper reporters Lois Lane and Clark Kent (a.k.a. Superman). In this movie-length premiere, Clark Kent arrives in Metropolis and gets a job writing for the Daily Planet, where he meets reporter Lois Lane. Together, they investigate a plan by Lex Luthor to sabotage a space launch. As Clark and Lois delve deeper into Luthor's nefarious plot, sparks of attraction fly between them, though Lois goes out of her way to needle the naive Clark. Lois and Jimmy Olsen break into a space lab for hard evidence of sabotage and soon find their lives in danger. With help and advice from his adoptive parents, Clark creates his alter-ego, Superman, and flies off to save Space Station Prometheus as it prepares to launch, with over 100 colonists -- and Lois Lane -- on board. Commercials deleted.
