PRIMETIME GLICK {CONAN O'BRIEN, EUGENE LEVY} (TV)
Summary
One in this talk-show series hosted by the self-assured, yet incompetent, Jiminy Glick, who is played by comedian Martin Short. The show begins as Adrien attempts to tell the story of how he was thrown from a horse over the previous weekend, only to be constantly interrupted by Glick. Glick shows a short film of his and Dixie's visit to a tattoo parlor, and his attempt to get tattoos put on his posterior. Glick then welcomes actor Eugene Levy as a guest onto the show. He discusses Levy's films such as "American Pie" and "Best in Show," while making it clear that he has seen neither. Glick continues to ramble, at one point mistaking Levy for Gabriel Kaplan. Before they can finish they are interrupted by the arrival of Bob Hope promoting his 100th birthday special. Next is a "Lalawood Fables" segment "Robert Downey and the Three Hippies," a take-off on "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" involving a drugged-out Robert Downey Jr. invading a home in the woods to sate his addiction to "porridge." In "Out and About with Jiminy Glick," Glick interviews late night talk-show host Conan O'Brien. They spend a great deal of time discussing O'Brien's hairstyle and demonstrate their singing voices in a sort of duet. When O'Brien tries to reveal a personal and poignant story relating to the pressures he suffers in his work, Glick ignores him in order to take a trivial phone call; a frustrated O'Brien soon leaves. Glick catches up with Levy again in a sauna, where he accidentally crushes the Robert Downey Jr. puppet from earlier. Commercials deleted.
