CBS STORYBREAK: CHOCOLATE FEVER (TV)
Summary
One in a series of animated adaptations of children's books hosted by Bob Keeshan, better known as "Captain Kangaroo." This program is about a boy named Henry, who lives to eat chocolate. In fact, he puts chocolate on everything he eats, including pancakes. One day, however, brown spots start popping up all over Henry's body. It turns out that he has "chocolate fever." Unfortunately, the doctor looking after Henry turns the boy's plight into a media circus. So Henry decides to run away. Soon he meets a kind truck driver who delivers candy bars to a wise man named Sugar Cane. Luckily for Henry, Sugar Cane knows the cure for Henry's serious, but not fatal, disease. In the end, Henry learns that too much of anything can be a problem -- even chocolate. Commercials deleted.
