ODD COUPLE, THE: YOUR MOTHER WEARS ARMY BOOTS (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series about Oscar Madison and Felix Unger, two divorced men who share an apartment in New York City. In this episode, Oscar has the opportunity to work as a co-anchor sportscaster for Monday Night Football. The only thing that stands in his way is Howard Cosell's dislike of him. Felix decides that he will win Cosell over by getting the opera star Martina Arroyo to sing at his Opera Club meeting. Because Cosell is a big fan of Arroyo's, he agrees to help Oscar get the chance to appear on his Monday night broadcast. However, Cosell also admits that he has ulterior motives for being on the air with Oscar: he wants to get even with Oscar for comments printed in the newspaper about himself. Arroyo sings two pieces during this program including an aria and "For Once in My Life." Commercials deleted.
