PASSWORD {BETTY WHITE, JACK PAAR} (TV)
Summary
One in this series of word-association game shows in which two pairs of players earn points when one member -- who knows the "password" -- induces the other to utter it by by providing one-word clues. The victorious team then plays a one-minute "lightning round" with similar rules against a ticking clock. Host Allen Ludden welcomes this edition's guest stars, actress Betty White and talk show host Jack Paar. Ludden and White are newlyweds, supplying the show with topical humor as Paar needles the couple about their freshly-minted marriage. White reveals that she and her husband plan to spend the summer performing in a production of "Brigadoon" in Paterson, NJ. Includes commercials.
