Summary
The second episode in this children's fantasy/science fiction series from Australia about the adventures of a teenage girl named Alana. After a time bandit abducts Alana from her peaceful society in the year 3000, she must fend for herself in the year 1990. After crash landing in Australia, Alana has a series of mishaps as she experiences the culture shock of living in a more primitive age. Luckily, she meets a local girl, Jenny, whose parents have recently divorced. Jenny is unhappy about her new home, working in her mother's deli, and caring for her mischievous younger brother, Petey, but she readily befriends the time traveler, whom she feels is an outsider like herself. Jenny and Alana go back to the nearby garbage dump where the time capsule crash-landed, but they see that they may be too late to save the craft because it is about to be destroyed.
