L.A. LAW {LA LAW}: SIDNEY, THE DEAD-NOSED REINDEER (TV)
Summary
One in this series of legal dramas set in the Los Angeles law firm of McKenzie Brackman. In this episode, set during the Christmas holidays, Kuzak attempts to get a monetary settlement for a woman whose young daughter was killed by police in an aborted drug bust. Kuzak is handling the case for Sidney Hirschberg, who was hospitalized for extreme depression. Yet when Sidney makes his return to the courtroom, with the help of anti-depressants, he still seems somewhat unbalanced. Meanwhile, Arnie compromises his principles when he begins having an affair with the alluring wife of the man he is representing in a divorce case. Also, Kelsey attempts to gain fair compensation for the inventor of a self-wringing tea bag. As the program concludes, members of the firm exchange gifts as Abby prepares to spend Christmas without her son, who is in her husband's custody. Commercials deleted.
