MAD ABOUT YOU: THE SPY GIRL WHO LOVED ME (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Paul and Jamie, a married couple who live in New York City. One of Jamie's clients, Dianne Caldwell -- played by Barbara Feldon of "Get Smart" -- comes to town, Paul and Ira reveal their childhood obsession with the actress who played the role of "Spy Girl." Rekindling their rivalry over the television heroine, Paul taunts Ira about that fact that he and Jamie have plans to dine with Caldwell. He refuses to invite Ira to join them, as his punishment for never mailing Paul's letter to "Spy Girl" when they were kids. Ira shows up at dinner anyway, and ends up spending the night with the heartless actress, who can barely remember who he is the next day. When Ira realizes that he has been used by "Spy Girl," he is not as distressed as Paul might have liked. Commercials deleted.
