Summary

One in this series of dramas about the cases of private detective Jim Rockford, an ex-convict who was imprisoned for a crime he did not commit and who gets involved in cases his self-protective instincts tell him to avoid. In this episode, Rockford investigates the murder of a senator who was slain at a private investigators convention. Reluctantly working with fellow detective Lance White, who is fearless, suave, honest and gallingly perfect, Rockford attempts to find the felon while clearing the accused, bumbling amateur sleuth Freddie Beamer, who was the first to find the senator's body. Commercials deleted.
