Summary
Part two of three. One in this British drama series about Dr. Eddie "Fitz" Fitzgerald, a brilliant forensic psychologist on retainer with the Manchester Police who drinks and gambles to excess and has a troubled family life. In this episode, Fitz continues to try to get Judith back but is thwarted by his inability to stop picking on Judith's therapist and possible love interest, Graham; D.S. Penhaligon -- who's been denied a deserved promotion and turns to Fitz for support -- is upset when Fitz uses her as a prop in his quest to win his wife back; and the investigation into Cormack's murder continues as Tina and Sean prepare to kill D.C. Giggs that evening. When Giggs's body is discovered, Penhaligon copes with the death of a good friend and her boss's assumption that the pressures of the job are getting to her. When a videotaped apologia arrives at the station, Fitz identifies Sean as one of the masked murderers; the squad arrest Tina after Fitz recognizes her from his own profile at a pub, but Sean -- there with Tina to lure Fitz to his death -- gets away. Commercials deleted.
