NBA EASTERN DIVISION FINALS, 1967: GAME 4 {BOSTON CELTICS VS. PHILADELPHIA 76ERS} {SECOND HALF ONLY} (TV)

Summary

Live coverage of the second half of the fourth game of this 1967 NBA playoff series between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers. Chet Forte and Chuck Howard call the action from Boston Garden. The game is joined in progress in the third quarter with the Celtics -- led by player/coach Bill Russell and star guard John Havlicek -- leading 66-60. Wilt Chamberlain and the 76ers, who lead the Eastern Division Finals 3-0, are out to end the Celtics' streak of eight straight NBA titles. As the fourth quarter begins, the Celtics are up by a slim margin, 91-88. As play resumes, the 76ers continue their relentless pursuit. After a fight breaks out on the court with 15 seconds left on the clock, the Celtics retain their lead and win the game 121-117, spoiling any notions of any easy division title for the 76ers. Includes commercials. (The first half of this game is not currently part of the Museum's collection.)
